Responsibilities

This position is responsible for scheduling all direct care staff and assures that Ecumen communities are adequately staffed 24/7.

Essential job responsibilities include:

  • Organize and prepare work schedules for employees to ensure the appropriate amount of staff is available for each work shift.
  • Manage each site's master schedules.
  • Create and maintain daily staffing reports.
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees.
  • Qualifications

    Scheduling Coordinator

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Education: High School diploma or equivalent 
    • Relevant Experience: previous experience working with staffing and scheduling in a healthcare setting
    • Proficient computer skills including previous experience with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); able to learn scheduling software
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task
    • Strong organizational skills 
    • Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
    • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous union contract scheduling experience 
    • Previous experience in long term care staffing operations and administration
