Position Summary

• The Pediatric Day Medical Ambulatory Unit is a 10 bed outpatient child friendly environment which provides outpatient services for the children of Eastern North Carolina. Services such as: chemotherapy, sedation, portable dialysis, medication therapy, transfusions, patient testing, and minor non-surgical procedures can be performed with a family centered approach in a space built just for our children.
• Only open M-F 06:30-6:00
• No Holidays or weekends

Minimum Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, pediatrics and critical care are preferred.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit requirements.
