Position Summary

Professional Development Associate contributes to the overall functioning of a continuing education/professional development department in a substantive, measurable way with the goal of advancing the mission of ECU Health.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with professional development teams to support seamless coordination of practice transition programs.
  • Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders regarding professional development initiatives.
  • May assist professional development teams and department leadership with administrative functions
  • Coordinate student experiences and brand recognition to sustain a pipeline of future nursing and allied health professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain processes that ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards (i.e Association for Nursing
  • Develop innovative solutions and strategies related to outcomes that are aligned with organizational and development goals.
  • Develop systems and processes for collecting accurate and reliable data related to departmental metrics, outcomes and key performance indicators.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates degree or higher is required.
  • BA or BS degree or higher is preferred
  • 2 years work experience is required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite expert level experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
