ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is Hiring an Environmental Technician Near Charlottesville, VA

What You'll Do
  • Primary duties include field sampling of soil, water, air and other materials while working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, within indoor environments, and on construction sites
  • Perform observation and documentation of field activities, either self-performed or by others, and documenting observations
  • This includes writing clear and concise daily field reports detailing site activities
  • You are expected to display the ability to use field screening equipment and document readings appropriately. Daily communication is required with site contractors, other technicians and project managers.
  • Incidental duties include office clerical tasks, report production assistance and other office related tasks
  • The performance of these responsibilities may require the use of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to: hart hats, safety glasses, respirators, steel toe boots and/or protective clothing
What We're Looking For
  • 0 - 5 years related experience

  • OSHA 40 hour HAZWOPER training would go a long way
  • Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed
