ECS is seeking a Sr. Policy Analyst to work in our Crystal City, VA office.
Job Description:
Analyze laws, executive orders, and DoD directives, instructions, and decisions to determine the impact on U.S. military programs and efforts. Conduct research and analysis, development, and coordination of strategy, plans, policies, and doctrine for civilian protection in connection with military operations. Apply technical expertise to executive-level projects, and analyze, assess, and develop future strategies, plans, policies, and doctrine governing civilian harm mitigation. Work with OSD, Joint Staff, Interagency, Multinational, and Academia/Think Tank partners for policy formulation on civilian protection in operational issues. Oversee client project or technical management for intermediate to complex policy projects. Develop and manage processes, draft formal guidance, and monitor execution and implementation. Compose documents and prepare senior leader decision packages. Adjudicate inputs to senior leader decision packages, prepare handouts, and distribute read aheads and other associated products in support of these projects.
