ECS_FEDERAL is Hiring a Cloud Engineer Near Warner, GA

ECS is seeking a Cloud Engineer to work in our Warner Robins, GA office Please Note: This position is contingent upon [additional funding].

Job Description:

ECS is seeking a highly qualified Cloud Engineer with an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance to work on our project at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

The candidate will be involved with product sustainment, product development, lab support, and engineering services in support of the Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development and support, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance software and Mission Support (MS) business lines. Candidate will assist in evaluating current systems, planning of large-scale system projects, purchasing, installing and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • The selected candidate will be expected to perform at a Senior/SME level with minimal to no assistance from junior level organic staff.
  • Develops plans, coordinates work teams and provides technical support to project team members.
  • Manage Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud infrastructure.
  • Configure data transfers, load balancing, and access controls for cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues with could computing environments/platforms providing necessary cloud service.
  • Integrate new applications and stand up new enclaves/environments, ability to upgrade/optimize cloud systems/environments, and complete instantiation/configuration of data-diodes.
  • Familiar with one or more of the following: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Cloud 1, or Platform 1.

Required Skills:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
  • US Citizen required per contract.
  • Security CE certification or obtain after starting.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in cloud architectural design, implementation, connectivity, and transition.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). data transfer, load balancing, and access controls.
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues with cloud computing environments/platforms, providing necessary cloud services, integrating new applications, stand up of new enclaves/environments, upgrading/optimizing cloud systems/environments, instantiation/configuration of data-diodes.
  • Experience must include on or more of the following: Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure, Cloud 1, or Platform 1.

Desired Skills:

  • 5 Years’ experience working on DoD programs is highly desired.
  • Interest in new technologies and the ability to adopt to those new technologies.
