Responsibilities:As part of the Delta Sonic team, this position will be responsible for but not limited to: assisting with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and special projects as assigned. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with annual audits and other
accounting, financial, or administrative tasks. The pay range for this position will be $23.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in accounting is preferred
- A thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong analytical and accounting skills
- Highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
- Good computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, highly skilled in Microsoft Excel is a plus)
- Prior experience with an accounting software system is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Courteous and professional demeanor
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
