Obtains paper work regarding the truckshipments for the day.

Obtain data regarding quantities, specifications, and loading / unloading datesof products to customers in Logistics.

Created driver self-loading packets daily for all truck shipments.

Enter truck shipping electronically .Billing of Acid product leaving plant.

Email Certificate of Analysis and billing information to customers for allbarges.

Train carrier drivers to self-load on the truck rack to loading procedure foreach spot.

Audit truck rack frequently to verify carrier drivers are following procedureand wearing appropriate PPE.

Manage customer truck orders by verifying SAP with TMS and ensuring carriersare scheduling accordingly to the 3 day truck schedule.

Manage assigned customer inventory levels by utilizing customer inventory andrate reports and ensure the correct number of deliveries are assigned anddelivered to sustain desired inventory levels.

This includes contactingcarrier daily to hold accountable to delivery schedule.

Coordinate carrier performance improvement efforts at the plant (productstewardship).

Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and recommend resolution.

Calculation of incoming and outgoing Acid product through bargetransportation. Completion of Barge Manifest through calculation ofinches to gallons.

Obtaining analysis results to use in calculation of 100 %weight of product for billing purposes.

Continuously cross training with Logistics Clerk and Logistics Specialist roles(ex. Daily rail switching, daily rail loading instructions, TS receipts, othertrucking customers not assigned to Logistics Coordinator.)

Work vacation relief for the Logistics Clerk and Logistics Specialist asnecessary throughout the year.

Manage billing discrepancies for assigned vendors and suppliers.

Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observesworkers to ensure compliance with standards.

Coordinates loading / unloading procurement, maintenance, and quality controlactivities to obtain optimum productivity and utilization of human resources,machines, and equipment.

Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment per job task specification or specifiedplant location.

Performs other duties / projects as designated by supervisor, and parameters areindicative to average requirements that are not inclusive based on change inoperational, safety, or environmental factors.

Attends Total Quality meeting weekly to address safety and environmentalconcerns and incidents as well as current safety performance onplant-site.

Presents safety information and addresses currentsafety issues brought forth by personnel.

Assists in coordination of the safety training within the department.

Completes DOT HAZMAT employee training.

Develops and revises operational procedures including usage of proper personnelprotective equipment for any new product.

Completes computer-based training as scheduled per supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications :

High school diploma or general education degree(GED)

Three plus years of administrative experiencein a manufacturing or Chemical environment

Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
