We are looking for a new Environmental Health & Safety Manager (EH&S) to join our team to ensure that our people go home the same way they come into work each day. You will partner with our Operators and Supervisors in our Lancaster, PA manufacturing facility to maintain and implement safety processes, training and procedures according to OSHA regulation and our policies. Internally, we call this role EH&S Specialist. Core Contributions:Develop and implement effective preventative engineering and safety programs, reducing work-related incidents and injuries.Lead volunteer employees from various functional areas to identify potential safety concerns and conduct regular safety audits.Identify training needs and conduct safety training for new and existing employees in compliance with company policy and regulations.Collaborate with our Corporate EH&S team on strategic initiatives.Administer workers' compensation, manage light-duty work, and lead return-to-work programs.Maintain OSHA logbooks and monitor record-keeping for safety, analyzing trends and common injuries.Submit capital project proposals and coordinate EH&S projects, maintaining communication with external suppliers, attorneys, and government agencies.Regularly update and maintain the EH&S management system and related procedures.Essential Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Health and Safety, Environmental Science or equivalent experience5 years skill and experience performing environmental, health and safety functions in a manufacturing settingExperience with workers compensation claims management Preferred certifications: ASP, GSP, or OHST
