The Electronics Engineer Intern will provide technician/junior engineer-level assistance to senior engineers for product support activities and development of new hardware and firmware designs.

DUTIES

• Research on various technologies to determine viability for future products and solutions
• Schematic capture and PCB layout design of low-complexity products
• Prototype bring-up and debugging of low-complexity products
• Functional verification, testing, test documentation, and troubleshooting
• Microcontroller firmware design and development
• Signal characterization
• Creation of product documentation including manuals and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)

QUALIFICATIONS

• On track to complete BS in Electrical Engineering within one year of hiring
• Basic skills in soldering, schematic capture, and PCB layout design
• Basic software development skills using C or Python or other programming language
• Proficiency in applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage own responsibilities and work in a team environment
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18 hours per week

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this part-time position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
