Job Summary:
As a Bigcommerce/Ecommerce Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing our online store presence on the Bigcommerce platform. You will be responsible for implementing strategies to enhance the customer experience, increase conversion rates, and drive online sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, a proven track record of success in managing online stores, and proficiency in utilizing Bigcommerce tools and features.
Responsibilities:
  • Ecommerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive online sales growth, increase conversion rates, and enhance the overall ecommerce experience for customers.
  • Platform Management: Manage day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, including product listings, pricing, inventory management, and order processing.
  • User Experience Optimization: Analyze user behavior and website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improving the user experience and increasing engagement.
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO) to drive traffic and sales.
  • Content Management: Oversee the creation and optimization of product content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, to improve discoverability and enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor ecommerce KPIs, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries, issues, and complaints related to the ecommerce platform.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ecommerce, digital marketing, and online retail to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing e-commerce websites, preferably on the Bigcommerce platform.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including website optimization, conversion rate optimization, and SEO.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Bigcommerce tools and features, such as product management, inventory control, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
