Job Responsibilities

• Work with scrum team to design new features and enhanced functionality for Pest Service iOS App
• Responsible for the interaction design of assigned features – leading elicitation and readying annotated prototypes
• Responsible for task-based research
• Responsible for creating and updating user journey maps
• Ability to create interactive design prototypes in Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, HTML/JS/CSS, or other tools

Required Skills:

• Minimum of seven (7) combined years of working experience in user experience design or interaction design with experiences in designing solutions for desktop, web and/or applications on a variety of platforms
• Experience designing native applications for iOS and Android
• Ability to create and annotate design prototypes
• User Experience Research – specifically task-based research
• Experience designing complex and/or task-based applications– Experience with design research techniques to understand the customer (e.g., interviews, contextual inquiry, usability testing, card sorting)
• General understanding of software development and database design.
• Experience working collaboratively with other product managers and engineers in a variety of settings and strong communication skills with the ability to articulate positions and advocate designs

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to create interactive design prototypes in Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD, HTML/JS/CSS, or other tools

Education Requirements:

• Required Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), interaction design, user experience design, visual design, or industrial design.
• Preferred M.S. in Design Strategy, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
