Job Details

Enterprise Architecture is the Ecolab-wide function for implementing enterprise analysis and governance to enable innovation and execution of business strategies to maximize the impact of technology investments. The Lead Business Process Analyst, Enterprise Architecture partners with a diverse group of stakeholders within ETS and the broader business teams to ensure 100% of applications, platforms, and technology purchases within Ecolab go through the Enterprise Architecture review process to enable standardization, consistency, and organizational leverage. The candidate will work closely with senior Enterprise Architecture, Security and Procurement leaders to transform end-to-end process, establish KPI's and related tracking, develop stakeholder communication, and drive continuous improvement. The candidate will also lead business analysis effort to elicit, analyze, communicate, document, and validate business requirements by partnering with business and ETS stakeholders on a portfolio of highly strategic enterprise level initiatives.
The candidate has a good understanding or the willingness and ability to learn different commercial and functional domains at Ecolab and contribute to integrating a broad range of ideas regarding Enterprise Architecture. This high visibility strategic role within ETS and Enterprise Architecture plays a key part in working with all functional areas and fostering strong collaborative relationships with senior ETS leadership and team members from Enterprise Architecture, Business Engagement, Security, Procurement, ServiceNow platform, and Service Owners. The successful candidate must be a self-directed achiever, a strong performer, and an excellent cross-functional collaborator.
This position is based in St. Paul, MN
What You Will Do:
  • Lead intake, assignment, and governance oversight process for Enterprise Architecture reviews.
  • Partner closely with Business Engagement Leaders and Business stakeholders to ensure clarity on problem statement, intended business outcome, use case analysis, personas, and business process.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security and Procurement leaders and team members to ensure status visibility on application reviews.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks early to minimize impact to business
  • Utilize ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management to manage the Enterprise Architecture review portfolio.
  • Measure process effectiveness through targeted KPI's and communicate EA Review portfolio status to key stakeholders.
  • Lead business process analysis effort for a portfolio of strategic Enterprise level initiatives.
  • Play Business Product Owner role for Ecolab ServiceNow Application Portfolio Manager (APM) module. 100% of business applications used within Ecolab are cataloged within APM.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • 8 years' experience with preference to IT, Business or Engineering
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a business environment performing analysis, gathering requirements, and problem solving
  • Willingness to engage with a wide range of stakeholders within the organization to gain business and organizational acumen
  • Expertise with Microsoft suite of tools - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams
  • Experience with ServiceNow capabilities - Application Portfolio Management, Strategic Portfolio Management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with global cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Project management training or experience
  • Proven ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely and professional manner
  • Experience working within a business function or division
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and product management skills
  • Ability to drive change and standardize process and procedure
  • Ability to navigate matrix organizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively to motivate, inspire and impact others to achieve results
  • Strong technology acumen - general understanding of key enterprise platforms
  • Experience with data visualization platforms like PowerBI
