EcoHome Expert is Hiring a General Laborer Near Belvidere, IL
All skill levels are considered, as we will train the right people.
We are in Northern IL and service the entire region. We offer great pay, overtime, and weekend hours, we work all year round, advancement opportunities, safety training, safety gear, uniforms, etc.
All potential candidates must be legal to work in the United States. Candidates will be required to consent to a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical.
We are looking for a General Laborer to take up manual labor tasks and support operations on worksites. We'd like you to have the ability to lift heavy loads, commit to safety rules and be dependable.
Responsibilities
- Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material
- Assist service technicians on-site
- Handle and transport materials and equipment
- Use power tools and machinery when needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
- Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (e.g. scaffolding)
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
