Eckles Paving is looking for Asphalt Paving Equipment Operators and Laborers. Candidates should have at least one year of experience operating paving equipment, for example.. Pavers and Asphalt rollers and Excavators. Operators are responsible for inspecting equipment before and after use. When necessary, you will perform routine maintenance on the machines like grease and cleaning filters or recommend they be sent to shop for repairs. All employees must follow company and governmental safety guidelines at all times.
Paving Operators Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure they are working properly
• Load and unload equipment for transportation
• Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
• Report needed repairs to the appropriate parties

Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements and Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in asphalt paving, 1 year operating asphalt equipment
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean MVR(motor vehicle record)
• Knowledge of proper operation of paving equipment as well as safety standards
• Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must be drug free and able to pass a drug test

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
