You'll design engaging activities that foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth within a safe and stimulating classroom. Responsibilities:
Craft captivating lesson plans: Assist in developing curriculum that aligns with early childhood development standards, incorporating play-based learning, exploration, and age-appropriate activities.
Masterful instruction: Deliver lessons using a variety of engaging methods, including storytelling, music, movement, arts & crafts, and hands-on experiences.
Nurturing growth: Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and tailoring learning experiences to individual needs.
Building social butterflies: Foster positive social interactions, conflict resolution skills, and emotional intelligence within the classroom community.
Open communication: Collaborate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and fostering strong partnerships.
Classroom haven: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment that sparks curiosity and exploration.
Lifelong learner: Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
Early childhood champion: degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or a related field (preferred).
Experienced guide: Minimum of 1 year experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
Developmental expertise: Solid understanding of child development theories and best practices.
Communication maestro: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Creative spark: Ability to design and implement creative and engaging learning experiences.
Patience and passion: A patient, enthusiastic, and genuine love for working with young children.
Safety first: CPR and First Aid certified (preferred).
