ECC is Hiring a Staff Environmental Scientist Near Yakima, WA
- Underdirectsupervision,prepare environmental reportsand plans
- Analyze environmental/site/material data
- Performcross-disciplinary safety/quality,projectcontrols,procurementand contracts,and estimatingdutiesasassigned
- Reportto the site and conductfield sampling,construction,engineering,and othermiscellaneous field supportservices
- Maintain budgetand schedule forassigned tasks
- Applyindustrystandardsofpractice forselectedtechnology,adhering to regulatorycodes,building codes,national/localstandards,and companypolicies and SOPs
- Asdirected,reportto the field to performand/orinspectorobserve fieldwork,and review workofpersonnel,subcontractorsand consultants to ensure compliance with approved plansand acceptable tolerances
- Complete related documentation (field reports, logs,meeting minutes,online submittal sites),in a timelyand accurate manner
- In addition to the accountabilitiesabove, otherresponsibilities,tasks,and deliverablesmaybe assigned to the incumbentofthisposition
- Applybasicknowledge ofgeneral scientificandengineering principlesand analytical tools,asdirected
- Applyeducation ofenvironmentalprocesses,remediation technologies,design and construction technologiesasdirected
- ImplementFederal environmental regulations,DoD guidelines,OSHAstandards, USACE QC protocol,building codes/standards,and FAR,asdirected
- Communicate effectivelyby written and verbalmeans
- Performmultiple concurrenttasksand meettimelines,asdirected
- Workwell remotelyand asa team
- Competentin using MicrosoftOffice products,email systems,and Windows
- No previousexperience required butinternship preferred
- Education:Bachelor’sdegree in Life,Earth orNatural Sciences,Environmental Management,orrelated field froman accreditedinstitution.Equivalent combination ofeducation and experience maybe substituted for this requirement.
