Job description:

Entry Level (W2VHE) Computer Techs – A certification and/or Associates degree in computer field OR (1-2) years of professional business working experience in the desktop support Field.

Location: Ashland City, TN.
Project dates: 6/3 through 6/7 (5 days).
Workdays: Monday through Friday.
Shift hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM.

Job Description:

Unboxing equipment.
Basic de-installation of old Legacy systems (CPU & Monitor).
Basic installation of laptops and desktops. mixture of OptiPlex AIO and Laptops. (122)
Basic Installation of New CPU, Monitor and Keybd/Mouse Combos
Techs will take the new device and any monitors and/or peripherals to the location of old legacy PCs, disconnect it and connect the new device, confirm that everything is connected correctly, and the unit is powering up completely.
Onsite Trash Removal.

IMPORTANT:

This is a plant environment, so PPE will need to be worn. If tech has steel toe boots, they should bring them. If not, customer will supply all PPEs required, which will consist of safety vest, safety glasses, ear plugs and covers to go over their shoes that could be used in place of steel toe boots.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Repetitive motion capability, good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity sufficient to assemble units or small parts of equipment, detailed oriented and ability to work alone.

REQUIRED:

Level 1: Compta A certified or an Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Background check/drug screening required.
