Accel Towing and Transport / Champion towing LTD, Is looking to hire a full time Class 1 Driver. Experience loading and unloading Tractor trailer units, strapping and chaining loads, as well as driving experience would be an asset.
Primary duties would include, Loading and unloading Equipment onto Scissor neck, Removable gooseneck, Landoll, and flatbed types of trailers as well as transporting Equipment, containers, oversized equipment and misc freight.
Wage would be dependent on experience of the applicant.
Requirements include
Must be located in Brandon
Clean drivers abstract
Valid class 1 license
Clear criminal record check
Proficient in English (written and oral)
Smart phone for our tow app
Responsibilities include
Tying / chaining down equipment / loads
Keep company equipment clean and tidy
Good customer service
Organized, and able to write up invoices
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
Driver logbooks
Excellent time-management skills
Able to keep up with a fast paced environment
