The Licensed Social Worker helps senior residents and family understand and cope with the psychosocial aspects of their lives involving change, grief, and loss through crisis intervention - individual, group and family counseling.

Aurora on France is a state of the art senior living community, attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. It is conveniently located off Hwy. 62 and France Ave. on a public bus line. Aurora is a full continuum of care campus including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Managed by Ebenezer, we offer employees many benefits including free meals if you work a double shift, beautiful walking paths for your breaks, free parking, and opportunities for growth both in the TCU and Assisted Living.
Responsibilities/Job Description
- Coordinates admissions with the admissions team as appropriate
- Manages resident caseload
- Provides one to one and group counseling as appropriate
- Serves as a Discharge Planner
- Assists in Vulnerable Adult investigations and completes necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of social workLicensed by the MN State Board of Social WorkOne to three years experience in LTC
