We are looking for a Float RN - Registered Nurse to join our team! This position floats to assigned Ebenezer Assisted Living communities to provide RN services and support. This nursing schedule includes;

• casual/on call position
• day shift
• must work minimum of 3 shifts per month; 1 must be a weekend shift

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Maintains current assessment and documentation of resident health status
• Assures that tenants/residents have up-to-date service agreements and care plans. Implements service agreements with new tenant/residents. Reviews and updates service agreements at least once per year and more frequently when there is a change in service need
• Facilitates coordination of services with internal and external providers
• Assures that all physician orders are signed and implemented per the applicable Minnesota home care regulations
• Manages and oversees medication and treatment administration
• Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff
• Support RN to act as on call during scheduled times

Qualifications

Required:

• RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

• One to Three Years previous experience in Assisted Living as a Staff Nurse
• Solid understanding of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree: Nursing
• Proficient in Eldermark Computer Documentation Software
• Prior supervisory experience
• Prior experience in home care or assisted living environment
