Provide a leadership role in supporting the hotel's financial goals through overseeing the smooth and efficient processing of accounting related information. Oversees general accounting, payroll, inventory and general ledger reconciliations. Exemplifies the values and beliefs of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa. Must have at least 10 years of Accounting experience; preferred in a hotel or hospitality setting.
* Supervise weekly submission of time and attendance data ensuring correct downloading of data into timekeeping systems prior to processing of payroll. Previous ADP experience required.
* Continually asses all internal financial controls including purchasing, cash handling, disbursements, inventories, hotel assets, and payroll.
* Monitor hotel revenues and expenses ensuring accurate recording in accordance with established guidelines. Review for variances elated to budget and forecasts.
* Prepare Monthly Journal Entries and assist with preparation of Financial Reports.
*Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
*Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
