Job Title: Nurse (RN/LPN)

Position Summary: The Staff Nurse will work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and will assure provision of care to the assigned patient population in a professional manner, utilizing the nursing process and principles of continuous quality improvement in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.
Principles Responsibilities:
Uses good judgment in making independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information to assure patient rights are protected.
Assists with the development and maintenance of the department's plan for a systematic process for monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of (patient care) services and for resolving identified
Attends and participates in workshops, seminars, etc. to keep abreast of current changes in the healthcare field.
Works with the Charge Nurse to ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner for employees and patients by assuring necessary equipment and supplies are maintained to perform such duties/service.
Education & Experience:
Current LPN or RN license for the state of South Carolina Required
Must have graduated from an accredited institution/nursing program.
Individuals who are Bi-lingual/Bi-cultural are encouraged to apply.
Experience with Athena preferred.
Medical Office Experience preferred

Prolonged periods sitting or standing
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Be able to sit, stand, stoop, squat for extended periods of time throughout the day.
Standing or walking for extended periods throughout the day.
