E2S is a fast-growing startup, providing event staffing services across 10 states.
The Payroll and HR Specialist, reporting directly to Kim Parsons, CFO, plays a crucial role in managing the financial lifecycle of events serviced by E2S. Responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, employee support, and account reconciliation, this role ensures the accuracy and completeness of event records on a month-to-month basis. Specifically, the Payroll Specialist handles the reconciliation of sales reports, facilitating the processing of worker payrolls and client invoices for each event. Exceptional customer service skills are essential as the specialist assists staff with pay-related inquiries and communicates with clients to resolve payment disputes or delays. Upholding E2S's commitment to its people, the Payroll Specialist ensures timely pay and effective communication with all employees throughout each season, reinforcing the company's core values. Additionally, the Payroll and HR Specialist must possess the capability to clear out support emails and handle staff needs promptly, ensuring a smooth operation of HR functions within the organization.
Job Qualifications:
- HR experience managing support and employee personnel matters
- Microsoft Excel & Google Drive/Suite mastery
- Excellent communication skills—this role requires daily communication to event employees and venue clients via support & client emails
- Strong professional analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Detail Oriented skills to account for, reconcile, and confirm reasonability of sales reports
- Payroll Mastery for employees and attention to compliance and detail
- Experience with invoicing & data entry
- Reconcile events with correct bookkeeping process
- Self-starter who can easily build good rapport and relationships with venue clients
- Professional with integrity and ability to resolve client & employee concerns quickly
- Ability to bring forth recommendations on operational improvements

- Comfortable reporting to the CFO for reconciliation each month

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
