Eaton is Hiring a Lab Analyst Near Euclid, OH
Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Lab Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Euclid, OH facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Job summary
This position is responsible for conducting materials testing in support of Eaton-Euclid manufacturing and Eaton Aersopace Labs' external sales. Will prepare, analyze and document metallurgical and chemical lab tests. This position will be also be responsible for maintaining test equipment, modifying/writing lab procedures and supporting manufacturing special processes.
Job responsibilities
- Perform hardness testing (Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers, Knoop).
- Assist with chemical analysis (titrations, Spark-OES, ICP) as needed.
- Perform other lab work/tasks if necessary.
- Document test results and prepare test reports
- Help maintain lab equipment and environment
- Communicate (both orally and written) with supervision and sales in a precise, logical, informative and tactful manner.
- Assist with manufacturing process troubleshooting and process control
- Review industry specifications related to lab testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- 2 years in a laboratory, manufacturing or testing setting experience required
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- No relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Euclid, OH will be considered.
- Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
