Job Description & Requirements

Shift: 7a-7:30p, 3x12’s... Contract Length: 13 weeks… 2 years of current ED experience required… BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required - CEN preferred… Every other weekend (Sat/Sun) required… Will not consider blocked scheduling… Will float within ED only… Must work one major winter holiday… No call required… Patient Mix/Skill Requirements: Community ED, Primary Stroke Center, Academic facility. 20 bed ED, Plus “surge space/hallway locations”. Able to work all areas (triage using ESI triage), critical area, able to work with pediatric patients (there is no separate Peds ED)... Cerner charting experience preferred… Patient Ratio: 1:5-7… Will not accept first time travelers… Scrubs color: Hunter green scrubs… Additional Requirements: Utilization of bar code medication administration, strong patient satisfaction focus… If traveler lives within 50 miles of the facility, there will be a $5 reduction in the rate… Flu vaccine required...
