This is an opportunity for a behavior analyst to truly make a difference and participate in company growth as we builds our new ABA program. Starting with working with our current SLS clients, training staff, and supporting us as we start to build ABA services. We want our next BCBAs to have more than a job. Rather we want people who want to be part of something bigger.

Our company has an immediate position for a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s)/Licensed Behavior Analysts (LBA’s) to join our growing team. SAILS specializes in the IDD/IID community, serving clients all over King, Snohomish and Spokane Counties. We are looking for someone to support in our programs with our current clientele. We are looking to launch ABA services within this year as well, and would want our BCBA to support us in this process. SAILS Washington has been a successful and stable business who has provided a high-quality service using best practices in King County, Snohomish County and Spokane County (and more soon). As an integral part of our team, some of the duties you will assist the Regional Director and Residential Director with are:

  • Hiring, training, supervising and developing DSPs and potential RBT’s
  • Assist in the development, planning, and implementation of strategies for program continuation and growth
  • Demonstrate a functional understanding of best practice in ABA clinical care in a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Support SAILS Washington in building an ABA program
  • Provide Consultation and Support to families and clients
  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance to establish best practices and ensure quality of services to our clients
  • Provide ongoing consultation using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Design, implement, write, and maintain Behavior Support Plans as needed, using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, as needed
  • Regular review and maintenance of data collection towards behavior plan goals
  • Conduct ongoing training and provide ongoing support for direct service professionals, home administrators, program managers, and other professionals, as needed
  • Attend multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with other professionals in ongoing development and maintenance of behavior support plans

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • BCBA credential in good standing is required
  • Master’s degree in psychology preferred
  • 3 years of designing and implementing behavior support plans is required
  • Experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Experience with mental health is preferred
  • DDA and DSHS within Washington State policy and regulation is required

Qualifying Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to independently gather information in making a decision
  • Ability to research topics or areas of specialty that are unfamiliar
  • Work independently when limited supervision is present
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with others
  • Person-Centered approach to problem solving
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment with multiple inputs from various stakeholders

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Insured, Reliable, and Registered Vehicle
  • Must be 21 years or older, to drive for SAILS
  • Pass a DSHS Fingerprint Background Check
  • The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • Fully Vaccinated for Covid-19, or have an approved exemption

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
