Job Summary:

**HOURS 2PM-10PM M-F**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care services. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Assist with meal preparation and feeding

- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry

- Accompany clients to appointments and outings

- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Requirements:

- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred

- Knowledge of medication administration systems and procedures

- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as needed

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment
