Eastside Veterinary Associates in Kirkland is interested in working with an Experienced Veterinary Assistant with at least 1 year of experience who shares our purpose and core values. We also welcome college graduates who are interested in seeking to develop their skills during a gap year.

Your kind, compassionate, low-stress handling skills are put to use in the highest quality medicine, focusing on what's best for the patient. Primary roles in helping doctors with appointments, technician appointments, and procedures. Must be capable of canine and feline restraint, hospital maintenance, nursing care, laboratory processing, nail trims, anal gland expressions, puppy and kitten discussions, ear cleanings, blood pressure measurement, SQ and IM injections, suture removal, and phlebotomy. Knowledge of Avimark practice management software is a plus.
Additional advanced skills in IV catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, and emergency stabilization are not required although appreciated.

What you can expect:
Health and Dental Insurance after 90 days of successful employment.
Daytime schedule on Monday through Friday - 10 hour shifts with 1 hour lunch schedule.
No overnights.
Rotating Saturdays, leaving plenty of weekends to enjoy!
Occasional shifts in boarding during peak seasons.
