Our After School Action Program (ASAP) combines homework help, tutoring, enriching activities, and nutritious meals to create a well-rounded learning experience that promotes success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the After School Action Program.
• Develop and implement engaging and educational activities that align with our program's goals.
• Supervise and support a team of After School Program Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Coordinate and facilitate tutoring sessions, homework help, and creative projects.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and guardians to ensure effective communication and program alignment.
• Monitor student progress and develop strategies to address individual needs.
• Oversee the preparation and serving of daily nutritious meals for students.
• Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to enhance program offerings.
• Contribute to program development, improvement, and expansion strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in an educational or mentoring capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for designing educational and recreational activities.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in education, social work, youth development, or a related field preferred
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
