Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a designer and manufacturer ofspecialized electronic systems and components for critical applications in homeland security, healthcare, defense and aerospace. The ideal candidate will be available to start immediately and be open to accepting this 2 month contract assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving materials into the spare parts warehouse and inventory management system. Checking for damaged or missing materials versus delivery paperwork.
• Sorting and placing materials onto racks or shelves.
• Moving materials around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift / bendi truck. Picking and packing orders for delivery or pickup.
• Loading and sometimes delivering orders.
• Performing warehouse inventory control via a warehouse scanner or computer.
• Prepares and maintains paperwork records of orders shipped.
• Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
• It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid the recurrence of the problem.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages when necessary.
• You will need to complete a background and Drug screen prior to starting
• Meet all ITAR compliances
