Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a prominent provider of workforce management solutions, dedicated to linking skilled professionals with rewarding opportunities. We have partnered with a leading provider of specialty food processing equipment solutions, in the search for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join their team. Our client has been helping their clients achieve exceptional quality in their food production processes through innovative equipment and expert service.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and install specialty food processing equipment, specifically related to drying, smoking, and fermenting, directly at client locations.
• Read and interpret integrated system schematics involving electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and plumbing components.
• Manage and use refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations and the Clean Air Act.
• Utilize computerized maintenance and field service management systems.
• Operate SCADA systems for equipment management.
• Perform oxy/acetylene welding as required.
• Conduct physical tasks such as lifting, lowering, climbing ladders, and walking on roofs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC or Refrigeration Trade school preferred.
• Minimum EPA Core Level 2 certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial refrigeration.
• Expertise in refrigerant management and relevant environmental regulations.
• Intermediate proficiency with computerized maintenance systems.
• Experience with SCADA systems.
• Capability to perform welding tasks.
• Must be able to physically handle the demands of the job including lifting and roof work.
• A clear driving record and ability to operate a service van.
• Previous experience in a food processing environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of programming in PLC languages like AWL, SCL, or Codesys is a plus.
