Role Overview:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality assurance and control activities are conducted in accordance with company procedures. The successful candidate will support the execution of Quality System requirements to uphold compliance with ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, ISO14971, and all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow written directions and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Independently conduct inspections of incoming parts, in-process part inspections, and final assembly inspections.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operators to support the production schedule effectively.
  • Identify and assist in nonconformance investigations and reporting.
  • Contribute to tracking equipment logs and calibration.
  • Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement within the company.
  • Adhere to all quality and manufacturing procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree required; Associates Degree desired.
  • Proficiency with basic lab tools such as microscopes, calipers, tensile testers, and other inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Positive attitude, self-directed, and driven.
  • Experience in a structured manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Prior experience with medical device quality control is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of standards related to medical device manufacturing, including ISO 13485 and 21 CFR Part 820, is a plus.
