Eastridge is Hiring a Project Manager Near San Fernando, CA

Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a premier Employee-Owned multidisciplinary commercial builder and construction management company to find an experienced Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of assigned project(s) from preconstruction through closeout. This includes activities such as constructability reviews, value engineering, budget control, prime contract negotiation, client management, risk management, financial reporting, and project closeout.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preconstruction activities such as estimating, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
  • Ensure understanding and management of all contract documents.
  • Prepare comprehensive scope descriptions and agreements.
  • Ensure project site safety and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Manage project financial reporting processes and oversee budgets, contracts, and invoices.
  • Identify and address areas of risk and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
  • Manage Quality Management Manual to ensure project quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to develop accurate project schedules.
  • Ensure document control procedures are followed.
  • Prepare monthly reports for financial and project status.
  • Oversee project closeout activities including final submittals, punch list, and warranties.

Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
  • Over 7 years of construction industry experience managing projects ranging from $30M – 80M.
  • Civic experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with team members, industry partners, and clients.
  • Efficient time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, P6 Scheduling, and BIM.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
