Responsibilities

• The role will allow for significant jury and bench trial experience, e-filing in various state, federal, and appellate courts;
• Managing large e-discovery imports, document reviews, and production exports in administrator-level responsibilities;
• Preparing attorneys for depositions and hearings;
• Responsible for drafting pleadings, discovery, TOC’s & TOA’s with Best Authority; calendaring; judgment collection; and asset research.

Requirements:

• Paralegal certificate 
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a litigation paralegal 
• Litigation experience in the state of CA is highly encouraged 
• Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal deadlines and rules) 
• High proficiency in ESI platforms, Relativity, TrialDirector, and MS Suite
• Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision 
• Articulate, organized and a team player with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
