Eastridge is Hiring a CNC Machinist Near Fitchburg, MA

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented entry-level CNC Machinist to join our clients dynamic team. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.
Key Accountabilities
- Machine Operation: Insert and load control instructions into machine units to start operations, and manage multiple work centers.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts to ensure equipment is in optimal production condition.
- Quality Control: Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure they meet specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Material Handling: Load workpieces onto machines manually or with the help of hoists or cranes.
- Monitoring: Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds indicating problems, and adjust machines to rectify issues.
- Tool Management: Remove and replace dull cutters to maintain production efficiency.
- Preparation: Pull setup sheets and prep stock for upcoming work orders.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, understand and follow ISO 13485 quality management system procedures, and work instructions related to manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing or metal working; experience with Hurco 3-axis machining is advantageous.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, basic knowledge of cutting tools and G&M codes.
