Led by board certified dermatologists Dr. Michael Del Torto and Dr. Donald Stranahan, Jr., the team at Easton Dermatology Associates specialize in diagnosing skin disorders and providing the best treatments available to improve the health and appearance of your skin. They strive to stay on the cutting edge of dermatological and cosmetic treatments, which includes using only the most advanced technology and techniques to treat the medical, surgical, and cosmetic needs of your skin, hair, and nails.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates telephone and routes calls to the proper area in and between two offices.
  • Schedules patients who are referred by other Physicians.
  • Schedules patients that call in for appointments.
  • Confirms appointments when necessary
  • Contacts necessary persons involved in patient care.
  • Provides general information to patients and the public.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the work area.
  • Responds to requests as needed noting in patient charts.
  • Maintaining faxes and refill and Prior Authorization requests.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned.
  • Must maintain open communication with management.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to commit to the required schedule: 8 - 4:30 Monday through Friday.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Call Center experience is necessary for the position
  • Ability to operate multi-line telephone systems, extensions, and voicemail.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail when receiving several phone calls at once.
  • Interpersonal skills are necessary in order to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personnel, patients and outside callers in gathering and exchanging approved information.
  • Must convey a pleasant, helpful caring attitude.
