Packer/Operator – Production Team Full Time – 1st Shift

The Company

Eastgate Group is a family-owned business with over 30 years of experience in the packaging industry, located in Lebanon, Ohio. We specialize in applying labels to various kinds of containers for partners who range from small local breweries to massive Fortune 500 companies. Many of the products that you’ll assist in labeling can be found at your neighborhood big box store.

The Position

Eastgate is looking for entry level candidates that will start out as Packers, but are willing to immediately start Operator training and transition to a Machine Operator within 30 to 60 days. Packers work on a small team led by a Machine Operator to place materials onto a production line and then inspect & pack the finished product for shipment. This position does not require previous experience, but some manufacturing experience would be helpful in making the transition to Operator. It’s a physical job that requires the majority of the shift to be spent on foot. Our facility is a manufacturing environment that can get loud and is quite warm during summertime months.

Requirements

• No experience necessary, but manufacturing experience preferred
• Enjoy fast-paced physical work

• Able to work in a loud, warm, humid environment
• Able to perform repetitive actions using arms, wrists, and hands
• Able to stand for majority of shift
• Able to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds

• Must be at least 18 years old

Pay Rate

• Starting rate of $13.50 per hour for 1st shift
• Increase of $1.00 per hour once trained as an Operator
• Full Time employees receive a $250 signing bonus after 90 days of employment
• Performance review with opportunity for raise after 90 days of employment
