Easterseals UCP, is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary, REACH team where you will be working with our three VA REACH homes on a PRN basis.

What You’ll Do

Your care will make a huge difference in the lives of the people you will be helping. This team cares directly for our youth/adults who live with mental health challenges and IDD in our family-style crisis homes located in Woodbridge, VA and Culpeper, VA. The RN role involves reviewing medical documentation and conducting assessments for admissions/discharges that occur within the VA REACH homes. This is a primarily on-call opportunity with minimal travel to the homes. 

What We’re Looking For

To become a part of our team, it is essential to possess a deep commitment to assisting others, along with proficiency in medication administration, psychotropic medications, education, and the ability to accurately document these activities in the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Additionally, we require the following qualifications:

• An active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license for practice in Virginia
• Possession of a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a commendable driving record
• Previous psychiatric experience with IDD/MH
