Position Summary
Essential and Primary Responsibilities:
1. Supervises therapy staff, evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for employment actions to the Clinical Director.
2. Manages the daily operations of the Easterseals Redwood therapy department, across all locations.
3. Participates in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
4. Works with team members and appropriate departments to rectify payroll, benefits, or billing issues.
5. Facilitates routine and reoccurring staff meetings.
6. Acts as a liaison for internal and external resources to ensure a unified approach to patient care delivery.
7. Partners with the marketing department when necessary to highlight program areas or to market specific service areas as needed.
8. Recommends changes to improve service delivery and implements changes and new programming.
9. Responsible for quality assurance, including clinical care and documentation.
10. Responsible for the operational level budget as it relates to the therapy department.
11. Evaluates supplies and equipment and ensures proper inventory is maintained.
12. Coordinates equipment calibration, repairs, and necessary ordering.
13. Conducts research on equipment, supplies, and clinical care to assure excellence.
14. Assists in personnel scheduling to optimize staffing resources.
15. Monitors productivity standards to appropriately allocate staff and effectively manage budget.
16. Works with clinical director to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements.
17. Complies with the agency’s policies and procedures and complies with regulatory bodies.
18. Oversees KEIS contract and services.
19. Serves as contact for college and university clinical students and associated contracts.
