REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, plus a minimum of 10 years related experience and 5 years of leadership experience with groups of up to 10 people. Proven experience as Manager of Operations or equivalent position, primarily relating to the preliminary, functional and detail engineering design of Marine and Fluvial Vessels of all Types.
Additional characteristics will include strong time management, complex problem solving, and dispute resolution skills as well as professional, written/oral communication and Microsoft Office computer skills. The Engineering Operations Director must have the drive and discipline to monitor, maintain and enforce existing department policies and procedures, as well as develop said procedures as they are required to support new contract project requirements. The ability to maintain a professional demeanor, particularly in time-critical or resource-challenged scenarios, and maintain confidentiality is a must.

- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
