We are looking for talented and energetic people to further fuel our success. , we are looking for an on called Armed Security Guard. Currently have a fulltime detail 7 days a week. Hours are 6pm-Midnight and Midnight-8am.
Eastern Security Inc. is an unarmed and armed security provider for warehouses, commercial facilities, residential communities and much more.

Main Responsibilities
Specific Duties and Essential Functions
- Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may cause security concerns or safety hazards.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Sound alarm or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Performs security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles.
The Ideal Candidate
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess a current and valid Florida Driver’s License
- MUST possess a Florida Class G Security Officer License.
Must possess one of more of the following:
- Verifiable work history in any field
- Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline
- Service in the active military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Retired Law enforcement or military encouraged to apply
- Minimum of Seven years verifiable and successful Armed security experience OR retired law enforcement/military.
Skills Required
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activity: Walking, Standing, Speaking, Listening, Observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, Running, Walking, and sitting. Stooping and kneeling required often.
