Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative is seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Lineworker to join our team in the Lone Tree location. As an Apprentice Lineworker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable service to our Cooperative members by assisting in the construction, operation, and maintenance of our distribution lines.

Responsibilities

· Perform all skills and labor required in the construction, operation, and maintenance of Cooperative distribution lines.

· Locate and eliminate any trouble that may develop on the lines of the Cooperative.

· Work on lines either dead or energized at voltages up to the maximum voltage of the system.

· Perform similar and less skilled work as required to ensure effective service to Cooperative members.

· Carry an equitable share of the workload.

Qualifications

· High school graduate or equivalent.

· Graduate of a line school and able to successfully complete Eastern Iowa Light and Power Cooperative Apprentice Program.

· Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

· Possess the necessary skills required to accomplish tasks assigned.
