Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Canonsburg
*Nanny/Household Manager*

• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Monday 11am to 7:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am to 5:30pm, Wednesday & Thursday 12pm to 8pm, Friday 9am to 4pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week
• Hourly Rate: $25-30
• Children: 4 and 10-year-old sisters
• Paid Vacation: One week family's choice, one week nanny's choice, 3 personal/sick days, all major holidays

Responsibilities and Duties

• WHO/WHAT: Twirl right this way! Are you fun, energetic and girly who's always well-mannered, delicate, and pristinely well-put together? Do you have knowledge of Catholic traditions, are open to travel, and carry yourself with confidence? This conservative family is looking for someone who makes an ideal role model for their two, ultra-feminine daughters. These two are girly girls in the purest sense of the word. They are confident and sassy, so you can't be someone who gets intimidated easily. Get your frilly tutu ready because the sweet 10-year-old is a competitive dancer. Her free-spirited four-year-old little sister loves animals and is fascinated with flying. This is a full-send role that is rigid in some ways but requires flexibility in others. You'll work Monday to Friday with various start times that range from 9 am to noon, and end times that fluctuate between 4 pm and 8:30 pm. The energetic foursome lives on a 25-acre (animal-less) farm and-should you wish-you'll have your own vehicle provided. There's a gorgeous pool that's used abundantly in the summer, so you'll need to know how to swim. Beyond the childcare aspect, these busy restauranteur parents (who'll be in and out of the house throughout your day) need their nanny to ease their lives like a director of operations. That means driving to and from school and dance classes, running errands, making sure the cat has food and fresh water, washing the kids' paint brushes after arts and crafts, etc. Mom and Dad are particular with how chores are completed-for example, how the laundry gets folded. In addition to that, you'll also help with light cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and light dinner prep (extreme allergy to cashews and a pistachio allergy). We're clearly looking for a very particular skillset and specific personality traits, but the family intends for this role to last a decade or more! Lastly, due to these parents' professions, they need someone reliable, punctual, and forever flexible with their schedule.
