The Cape on Kiawah, managed by East West Hospitality, is hiring Swim and Fitness Center Attendants. We're looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to join us in providing top-notch services to our valued owners and guests at the Cape Swim and Fitness Center. As a member of our team, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere while upholding the Cape rules and code of conduct. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Duties include: 

• Provide friendly greetings and interactions with all owners and guests upon entry and exit.
• Ensure adherence to The Cape rules and regulations, holding patrons accountable for non-compliance and registration of daily members/guests. 
• Perform daily minor maintenance tasks including cleaning and inspection of locker rooms, fitness equipment, and pool/outdoor areas.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns to the EWH Maintenance Department promptly.

Location: The Cape on Kiawah Island

Start Date: As soon as possible

Employment Status: Part Time/Full Time, Seasonal; or PT Year Round. 

Pay Rate: $20/Hour 

Schedule: Part Time and Full Time roles. Hours of operation daily beginning May 25, are from 9 am to 8 pm, includes weekends and holidays. Part Time < 30 hours/week; Full Time = 30-40 hours/week. Position ends in December 2024.

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have a friendly, outgoing personality, excellent communication, and verbal skills, and be customer service driven.
• Are able to work independently and problem-solve without direct supervision.
• Recognize and report safety concerns to provide a safe environment.
• Know how to handle difficult situations and behavior issues while keeping a calm and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to record and document activities daily.
• First aid/CPR certifications a plus.
