Job Posting for: Child CareTeacher
Location: Northeast Child Development Center (NECDC)
Reports to: Lead Teacher in classroom
Status: Full-Time, Hourly 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday / Hours depending on needs of program

Broad Scope and Function of Job:
Early Childhood teachers provides a warm and nurturing environment that meets the needs of each child in the center. They are responsible for the childrens health and safety at all times. They will plan and implement learning readiness skills and social experiences appropriate to the age level of the children. All teaching staff must adhere to ethical responsibilities to children, to families, to colleagues and to the community and society.

Minimum Education and Experience: (Must have both listed below)

Experience:
Two years previous experience working with children in a group setting.
Other:
CPR and First Aid Certified Required
Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend at the waist frequently and lift up to 40lbs frequently, up to 60 lbs occasionally.
Compensation: $17 -$19 / hour
