Position will include an excellent starting wage of $20.80 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, prescription drug, 401-K savings plan, and more. Responsibilities
- Material Handlers are responsible for pulling (physical lifting) orders, loading and unloading of trucks, loading batteries for customers and may include making occasional non-CDL deliveries.
- Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. More than 50 lbs. to be lifted with proper lift assistance.
- Ensure product is shipped out meeting East Penn Mfg. quality standards.
- Must be highly motivated, detailed, and have good communication skills.
- Responsible for utilizing FIFO.
- Ability to use an electric pallet jack preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred on both stand up and sit down forklifts.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week, but candidate may be requested to work overtime.
- Works under the direction of a Warehouse Lead or the Warehouse Manager; reports to Warehouse Manager.
