Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated family nurse practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a FNP, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Duties:
- Perform physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations
- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and treatment options
- Conduct coding for medical procedures and services
- Provide health coaching to patients on lifestyle modifications
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a nurse practitioner
- Strong knowledge of medical principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Athena
- Ability to provide comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose illnesses accurately
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
