SUMMARY: The Mathematics Targeted Intervention Teacher is responsible for supporting student growth in a targeted area of Mathematics with special attention to the grade level priority standards. The Interventionist provides individual or small group instruction to students who have targeted skills in need of growth. This position is also responsible for monitoring, reporting, and communicating student progress and performance to both students and parents. Certification • Current Connecticut elementary general education or K-12 special education or 7-12 Math certification • Three years of successful classroom teaching experience at the elementary level • Demonstrates an understanding and use of equitable and culturally responsive practices
