This position earns a competitive salary of $40,000 - $85,000/year, depending on education level and experience. Established in 2003, we are a premier public Montessori school that serves 450 students from 3 years old through 8th grade. We value people and invest in them. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A INNOVATION MEDIA SPECIALIST

As our Innovation Media Specialist, you are a critical component of our school community's access to high-quality project-based learning and information of all types. As a teacher leader specialist, you help students and faculty access the tools available while keeping the media center space a focal point of the school community. You will have a hand in virtually all student projects and school-level projects, such as video production and animation. You get the opportunity to work with students and teachers alike to curate resources and document projects. You patiently bring out the best in our community while supporting the many facets of school life. Your willingness to work with other teachers promotes effective interdisciplinary studies at our school. You get great satisfaction from working with every teacher and student at every level.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR INNOVATION MEDIA TEACHER LEADER

• State certification as a media specialist or a certification in a related field
• Experience in teaching
• Knowledge about effective and innovative technology & media
• True passion for growing students' abilities

Experience with both elementary and middle school students is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Are you skilled in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public? Do you have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal? Do you love research and instructional design? Are you team-oriented? Are you compassionate and caring while able to maintain professional boundaries?
